He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Max and Helen Ann Ritchal (Strobel); and his brother Floyd "Red" Ritchal. He is survived by: his nephews, Joe Carl Ritchal, Aaron Ritchal, Anthony Ritchal and Jon Jackson; his niece Natalie Ritchal; and his siblings, Owen Ritchal of McCune and Thresa Wilson of Water Valley, KY.. He is also survived by grandson, who he helped raise, Kaile Snyder-Combs; four step-children.
