With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elbert Jean Morey (McCune, Kansas), who passed away on December 5, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evert J Morey and Gertrude Pearl Morey (Smith); his wife Mary; his son Dan Morey; his grandson Joshua Morey; and his siblings, Earl, Carl, Merle, Ray, Roy and Thurma Masser.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Morey (Cathy) of Strafford, Ellick Morey (Phillis) of Rogers, AR, Brian Morey (Linda) of Marshall, TX and Galina Morey; his grandchildren, Jarod Morey (Ginger), Adam Morey, Daniel Morey, Brandy Scott (James), Andrea Johncox (Byron III), Jessica Nelson (Bryan) and Anastasia Katagarova; and his great grandchildren, Logan Morey, Brendan Morey, Mila Nelson, Byron Johncox, Clayton Johncox, Brooklyn Johncox, Peyton Powers and Braden Scott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McCune Library, or the McCune Lions Club.
