It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Eugene Kautz of McCune, Kansas, born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulis Fred and Mary Elizabeth Kautz (Palmer); his wife Donna Herrick; and his siblings, Fred Kautz, Bill Kautz, Helen Myers and Louise Dunlap.
He is survived by: his children, R. Tom Lohff of McCune, Eddie Kautz of California, Tony Lohff of Oklahoma, Rick Kautz (Nancy) of Missouri, Dale Shouse (Anita) of McCune, Terry Burgett of Austin, Kathy Kautz of California and Shellie Miller of Palm Springs, California. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
