He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris George and Laura "Maxine" Whiteman (Rawlings); and his brother Mark Francis Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Linda Christine Gillett; his children, Daniel W. Whiteman (Jodie) of Mayetta, KS, Stephen S. Whiteman (Emily) of Leavenworth, KS, Kimberly Sue Tyler (Chris) of Manhattan, KS and Keeli Dawn Kufta (Rich) of Topeka, KS; his stepfather John William "Bill" Sanders (Marcelline) of Cummings, KS; his brothers, Galen Whiteman of Olathe, KS and John Sanders (Donna) of Topeka, KS; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Chloe, Brock, Caleb, Zach and Ashley. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
