He was predeceased by: his parents, King P. Shopteese and Mary "Mae" Ruth Shopteese (Williams); and his siblings, Shirley Munoz and John Toney Shopteese. He is survived by: his children, Vena Rodriguez of Long Beach, California, Raymond May of Everett, WA and Toney May (Holly) of Des Moines, WA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
