He is survived by: his spouses, Diane Kennedy and Saundra White; his children, Marion Howerton, Jr. (Joellen), Mark Howerton, Misty Mathis of Topeka, KS and Rosetta "Rose" Stauffer (Todd) of Mayetta, KS; and his siblings, Irene Grey of Texas, Violet Williams of Alabama, Eddie Howerton and Bill Howerton. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
