She was predeceased by: her father Allen Smith; her great grandchild O'Ryan Rickel; and her brother Danny Smith. She is survived by: her mother Connie Marrs Smith; her children, Matthew Rickel (Chantel), Brandi (Rickel), Simpson (Chuck) and Melvern; and her siblings, Jeff Smith, Brad Smith, Gunnar Smith, Marla Brandon and Julie Steuber. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
