She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Whitepigeon and Ellen Whitepigeon; her husband James C. Rickert; her siblings, Delores Whitepigeon, Lorraine Bessemer, Vivian Whitepigeon, Norma Tolsma, Levi Whitepigeon, Jr. and James Whitepigeon; her sons, Garrett J. Rickert and Dennis J. Rickert; her son-in-law Michael Bloom; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Elizabeth Bloom and Chad Michael Rickert; and her great grandchild Michael Levi Rickert.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jessica Rickert (William Strait), James L. Rickert, Levi Rickert (Sheri), Deborah Bloom and Nancy Krogmann (David); and her sisters, Marlene Wade, Ruth Carlton (Robert) and Yvonne Whitepigeon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
