Francis T. Shopteese Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis T. Shopteese of Mayetta, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis T. Shopteese to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis T. Shopteese, Sr. and Margaret Shopteese (Childs); and his brother Gregory Shopteese. He is survived by: his close friend Arlene Lingo of Mayetta, KS; his children, Eric Shopteese (Leigh) of Borger, TX, Brandon Shopteese of Borger, TX and Amber Shopteese of Borger, TX; his brother Michael Shopteese (Nancy) of Amarillo, TX; and his grandchildren, Chase, Star, Alex, Shylah and Stormy.
The lying in state was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Shipshee Cemetery.
