It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erik Joseph Acheson of Mayetta, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on July 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard "Rick" Richard and Gayle Acheson (Newman); his siblings, Ryan Acheson (Kim) of Topeka, KS, Alec Acheson (Lexi) of Emporia, KS and Lauren Acheson of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandparents, EJ and Kay Newman of Carthage, MO; his nieces and nephews, Granger, Landon and Amelia; his pet Atlas; and his grandparents, Howard and Ruth Marie Acheson.
