He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lawson, Sr. and Thelma Hitsman Lawson; and his sister Marian Hughes. He is survived by: his spouse Nancy Hill; his son Douglas Lawson (Penny) of Salina; his siblings, Richard Lawson, Beverly Steele, Topeka Cox and Donna Cox; and his grandchildren, Brady Lawson, Jace Lawson and Tatiana Lawson.
