He was predeceased by: his grandfather Martin Long; and his cousin Mhari Rowell. He is survived by: his parents, Robert V. Smith and Elizabeth L. Long; his brother Cody M. Smith of Nebraska City, NE; his grandparents, Joanna Long, Bob and Jean Smith; and his aunts and uncles, Milissa (Gareth Rowell), Nick (Rowena Smith), Nathan (Sherri Smith), Jeny (Steven Bellavia) and Lawrence.
