He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil F. Bowser and Effie Bowser (Johnson); and his siblings, Doris Kitrell, Maurine Calderwood, Alberta Townsend and Lyman W. Bowser.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty J. Knouft; his wife Betty Bowser; his children, Mike Bowser (Grace) of Mayetta, KS, Steve Bowser (Cecelia) of Holton, KS and Elizabeth Holaday (Darin) of Holton, KS; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Bowser (Jessica), Erika Poppelreiter (Bryan), Jarrod Bowser (Sarah), Marc Bowser (Alisha), Zachary Bowser (Lauren), Anne Bowser, Garrett Holaday, Ethan Holaday (April) and Sarah Holaday. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
