It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anolene E. Mathena of Mayetta, Kansas, born in Cummings, Kansas, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl B. Ricketts and Ida E. Ricketts (Nitz); her daughter Debra Lynn Mathena; her son-in-law Jon A. Schuh; and her siblings, Darlene Carmack, Earlene Heston and William Ricketts.
She is survived by: her husband Robert E. "Bob" Mathena; her daughters, Roberta Schuh of Mayetta, KS and Connie Peters (Jeff) of Mayetta, KS; and her grandsons, Matthew Schuh (Shannon), Brian Schuh (Beka), Dustin Schuh (Brittany), Joshua Peters (Megan) and Robert Peters. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
