He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Young and Clara Young (Adams); his wife Darleen; his sisters, Helen Schneider, Ruth Rohmeyer, Marilyn Brooks and Bertha Hellmer; and his grandson Jeffrey Young.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Schramm (Jim), Michael Young (Jocelyn), Connie Doyle (Dan), Beatrice, Todd Young (Marcie) and Oketo; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Hellmer, Oketo, Galen Haner (Anne), Portland and Darlene Haner of Marysville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-one, great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
