He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Griswold (Fred) and Charlotte Griswold (Kloxin); his parents-in-law, William and Mary Behrends; his sister Evelyn Richardson; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Griswold and Richard Behrends.
He is survived by: his wife Willa Behrends; his children, Robin Wiegert (Frank) of Brighton, CO, Randy Griswold (Donna) of Marysville and Laurie Cudney (Leo Jr.) of Marysville; his siblings, Charlie Griswold and Laura Loaney (Bob) of Cranberry Township, PA; and his grandchildren, Mike Wiegert (Christina) of Fort Lupton, CO, Derek Griswold (Sunny) of Emporia, KS, Marc Wiegert (Chelsea) of Thornton, CO, Leah Whelan (Andrew) of Wichita, KS, Jennifer Curtis (Joe) of Thornton, CO, Ashley Griswold of Overland Park, KS, Chloe Thornburg (Reid) of Dallas, TX and Claire Renyer (Eric) of Sabetha, KS. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
