He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nordhus and Josepha Nordhus (Dwerlkotte); and his siblings, Norbert, Vic, Francis and Betty Dam.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bussmann; his sons, Mike Nordhus (Lisa) of Wichita, KS and Jim Nordhus (Carol) of Janesville, IA; his granddaughter Devon Guenther (Brian); his siblings, Jerry Nordhus of Shawnee Mission, KS and Edith Herbin of Topeka, KS; and his great grandchildren, Ian, Owen Lynch, Hailey, Blake, Bentley and Isabella Guenther. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established to St. Gregory's Catholic School.
