He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Ada and Fred Fredrick Slama; his significant other Mary Ann Shramm Slama; his sisters, Mable (Ernie Manley), Noreen (Joe Slama) and Norma (Bob Ellis); his grandson Joseph Wayne Slama; and his son-in-law Arn McJilton.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Michael, Sue Ann, John Paul and Mary Kay. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his honor to Meals on Wheels Metro Tulsa, Porta Caeli House, or Season's Hospice.
