He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Beckman of Marysville, Elizabeth Brinegar of Marysville, Donald Wassenberg (Angie) of Merced, CA and Jeffrey Wassenberg (Leslie Flaws) of Edina, MN; his brothers, David Wassenberg (Kathy) of Salina, KS and Chuck Wassenberg (Gayle) of Reno, NV; his grandchildren, Tara Crawford (Derek), Matt Beckman, Danielle Bonar (Dusty), Nathan Parmentier, Tommy Brinegar, Ashlinne Brinegar, Caden Brinegar, Evan Franco and Lyle Franco; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Kynslee Crawford and Peyton Turner.
A memorial fund has been established for the American Legion SMN&R Post 163 Baseball Program.
