It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene M. Frerking of Marysville, Kansas, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Merlin; and her brother Harold Stunkel. She is survived by: her parents, Melvin Stunkel and Sadie Stunkel (Bell); her sons, Kevin Frerking (Rebecca) and Randy Frerking (Jean); her sister Shirley Hamilton (George Santiago); her sister-in-law Geraldine Stunkel; her grandchildren, Bryant Frerking (Chelsea), Kaitlin Biery (Ryan) and Jay Frerking (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Harley, Addilynn, Bennett, Elliott, Emersyn, Rowyn, Brooks and Baylor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Kinsley Mortuary (1006 Broadway St, Marysville, KS 66508). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar Bethlehem Lutheran Church (401 Arrowhead Rd, Bremen, KS 66412). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
