He was predeceased by: his parents, Warda Argo and Marvin Argo; and his wife Shirley Eastwood. He is survived by: his son Doug Argo (Janet) of Liberty; his grandchildren, Jared Argo (Alli), Trigg, Kolt, Charis Dunlap (Sam), Haley, Kale, Colby Argo (Ellen), Levi and Callan; his son Dan Argo (Sheri); his grandchildren, Andrea Argo, Jordan Argo (Christina), Morgan, Logan, Emma, Ephraim, Joe Argo (Tricia), Alex, Allaynah, Alijah, Beckam, Orion and Phoenix; his daughter Jan Davis (George) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Emily VanKooten (Ingram), Everleigh, Eli and Emery; his daughter Jeanne Weisser (Steve); his grandchildren, Jorgia Weisser and Alec Weisser; and his brothers, Duane Argo (Joyce) and Ken Argo (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
The lying in state was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home (505 N 9th St, Wymore, NE 68466). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Marysville Berean Church (2221 North St, Marysville, KS 66508). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Mission Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Willow Center or Samaritan's Purse with the funeral home in charge.
