It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard Richards of Marquette, Kansas, born in Quinter, Kansas, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence G. Richards and Leona Richards; his children, Marjorie, Maureen Richards, Larry Richards and Vicki Cooper (Roy); his grandsons, Rob Leiker and Aaron Richards; his sister Blanche Osborne; and his half-sister Evelyn Yowell.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hockman; his daughters, Connie Conley of Bolivar, MO and Glenda Nickelson of Salina; and his stepchildren, Debora Moravec (Randy) of Abilene and Larry Fortenot of Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverview Estates, Marquette, and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
