He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Oliver and Anna Julia Montgomery (Scott); his former wives, Virginia L. Busch and Helen Stucky Flickner; his wife Blanche Louise Hawkinson-Spilman (Andrews); his siblings, Howard Montgomery, Glen Montgomery, Zola Westover, Wayne Montgomery and Jesse Montgomery; and his daughters, Faye and Debra.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Montgomery (Linda) of San Jose, CA, Donald Montgomery (Shelly) of Toulon, IL and Geneva Merritt of Chase, KS. He is also survived by three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
