She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph E. Spohn and Nellie M. Spohn (Borders); her siblings, Leo Spohn and Eula Spohn; and her grandchildren, Sam Nelson, Kyler and Katelyn Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Alfred "Blackie" Nelson; and her children, Barry Nelson (Carylee) of Marquette, Mo Nelson (Gayle) of Marquette, Linn Nelson (Lou) of Marquette and Kale Nelson (Kelly) of Fort Scott, Kansas.. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
