It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles L. Smith of Marquette, Kansas, born in Lindsborg, Kansas, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kristen Smith and Sarah Jane Smith (Sjögren); and his stepson Jeremy Arms. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Arms of Marquette, KS; his son Brandon Smith (Angie); his grandchildren, Jesina, Grady and Peyton of Lyndon, KS; his son Blaine Smith (Candace); his grandchild Alexia of Topeka, KS; his children, Matthew Smith of Melvern, KS, Zachary Smith of Ottawa, KS and Brenton Arms (Sacha); his grandchildren, Luke and Evie of Virginia; his daughter Rebecca Arms Cooch (Keoni); his grandchildren, Nico of Arizona and Cameron Guse; his brother Alan Smith (Jeanne) of Wichita, KS; his niece Kristen Gibbs of Jones, OK; and also, Cristina Arms O'Keeffe (Kevin) and Adam of Texas. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
