It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willis Peterson of Marion, Kansas, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Curtis R. Peterson and Winifred Peterson (Nansen); his wife Karyn "Sue" Glenn of Marion; his children, Daine Peterson (Kat) of Hillsboro, Curtis Peterson (Marcy) of Holcomb and Troy Peterson (Chris) of Lincolnville; his grandchildren, Amanda, Dakota, Cheyenne, Avery, Ty, Jon, Sydnee, Jakob, Nick, Emilee, Tucker, Michael, Sabrina, Brandon, Taylor, Hannah and Grace; his brother Warren Peterson of Sedona, AZ; his nephew Sam; his niece Katie; his pets, Zoey, Suzy and Pia; his son David Joel; and his pet Bobby. He was also cherished by several great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to Good Shepherd Hospice or CCH of Newton Service Dog Fund in care of the funeral home.

“We will miss Willis. We attended the Petersons' July 2004 wedding, enhanced by Sue's beautiful solo. This location is where the service for Willis will be held July 17, 2021. We have enjoyed many kindnesses from Willis and Sue, windstorm shelter, "March Madness" on the big screen and allowing their dog, Bobby, to accompany our walks. Stories about the Peterson farms in a long settled Swedish community were welcome and interesting. We send our heartfelt sympathy. Margaret and Jerry Norton”
