She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Stika and Mary Stika (Oborny); her husband John E. Smolik; and her siblings, Louis Stika, Valarian Stika and Henrietta Waner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Linton of Phillipsburg, KS and Kathy Swan (Paul) of Marion; her grandchildren, Ashley Delaney (Wes) of Phillipsburg, Lacey Beaver (Randall) of Hays, KS, Katrina Griffin (Justin) and KSand Becky Makovec (Tim) of Marion; her great grandchildren, Zackary Delaney, Wyatt Delaney, Leah Beaver, Kandace Wakeman (Stuart), Kassady Griffin, Morgan Looney (Dustin) and Tyler Makovec; and her great great grandchildren, Ava and Emrie Looney.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the John and Vickie Smolik Memorial Fund to benefit the Marion Cemetery in care of the City of Marion.
