He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandson Tate Riedy; his parents, Max Stroda and Joan Stroda (Strait) of Hope; his wife Barbara; his daughters, Pamela Krause (Chris) of Junction City, Renae Riedy (Casey) of Woodbine, Debra O'Bray (John) of Topeka and Kimberly Diekmann (Doug) of Woodbine; his grandchildren, Whitney Broxterman (Aaron), Paige Wildman (Cole), Chase Krause (Sydney), Drew Riedy, Hannah Riedy, Leah Riedy, Colton O'Bray, Carter O'Bray, Avery O'Bray, Addison O'Bray, Grace Diekmann, Emilee Diekmann and Logan Diekmann; his great grandchildren, Greyson Broxterman, Brynlee Broxterman, Wyatt Wildman and Paityn Wildman; and his sisters, Sherry Little, Linda Peters and Janet Barrett.
The family designated memorials for: Helping Hands Humane Society-Topeka (for his love of rescue dogs), Most Pure Heart of Mary, Catholic Schools-Topeka (playground equipment) and Neighbor to Neighbor- Abilene (where they frequently donated their extra garden produce).
