We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2022, at the age of 92, Marilyn Alice Knapp (Marion, Kansas), born in Wamego, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Levi Fields and Alice M. Thompson Fields; her children, Ellison Benfer, Randall Maltbie, Jimmie Maltbie and Rita Maltbie; and her grandson James Maltbie.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mary Bacon, Chuck Kenney of Hillsboro, KS, Josh Kenney of New Zealand, Jake Kenney of Wichita, Daniel Kenney of Kansas City, KS, Katrina Maltbie of Sacramento, CA, Brian Briggs, Mike Purdue of Antioch, CA and Heather Tabor of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Marion VFW in care of the funeral home.
