She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Wight and Mercil Wight (Thompson); her husband Bill Meyer; her brother Roland Wight; and her nephew Tracy Wight.
She is survived by: her son Eric Meyer of Marion; her grandson Nathaniel (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Henry of Livermore, California, Margaret of Livermore, California and Josephine of Livermore, California; and her nieces, Elizabeth Moore of Belt, Montana and Charlotte Gifford-Weaver of Houston, Texas.. She is also survived by 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Kansas Newspaper Foundation, 4021 SW 10th St, Suite 351, Topeka KS 66604. Contributions to Valley United Methodist Church and St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary also are encouraged.
