He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hajek and Mildred Hajek (Bina); his brother Francis; and his siblings-in-law, RaeLene Hajek, Wayne Ewert and Max Ewert.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Kay Ewert of Marion; his daughters, Kelli (Dennis Kerschen) of Wichita and Kimberly Helmer of Marion; his grandchildren, Drew Helmer of Thornton, Hunter Helmer of Overland Park, William Kerschen of Fort Liberty, NC, Matthew Kerschen of Wichita and Ella Kerschen of Wichita; and his siblings, Irene Waylan (Eugene) of Miami, OK, Paul of Lost Springs, Ronnie (Leona) of Lost Springs and Gary (Vickie) of Lost Springs. He is also survived by his loving brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Funds have been established for the Marion Presbyterian Church or for the St. Luke Hospital.
