He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Hampton and Frances "Jane" Hampton (Goforth) of Potwin; his significant other Mary Ann Smith of El Dorado; his siblings, Rebecca "Becky" Builta of Potwin, Kim Trumpower of El Dorado, Cheryl Lewis of El Dorado and Jared Lee Hampton of Potwin; his nieces and nephews, Melissa Boyer, Jessica Ritter, Justin Builta and Christopher Hampton; his daughter Carrie "Annie" Hampton; his nephew Jeremy Day; and his brother-in-law Kenny Builta.
