He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Warneke and Lydia M. Warneke (Lawrenz). He is survived by: his wife Edith Warneke of Marion; his children, Connie Warneke of McPherson, Pat Elling (Carl) of Tennessee and Gerry Lundy of McPherson; his grandsons, Carl Elling III (Christine) and Jeremy Elling; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Samantha, Allie and Sarah Elling. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
