He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "T. W." Kasten and Mae Kasten (McCann); his wife Ardella Hanson; his daughter Gelane; and his sisters, Hazel Kuether and Laura Brewer.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Connie) of Manhattan, Wayne of White City, Randy (Catherine) of Herington and Richard (Darlene) of White City; his sister-in-law Barbara Tiede; his grandchildren, Shanda Wilson (Jared), Shawn Kasten (Lorri), Shane Kasten (Melissa), Shelly Woods, Kerry Kasten (Lacie), Joshua Kasten, Betsy Kasten, Kyler Kasten (Tanna), Kilynn Elliott (Zeb) and Kasey Anderson (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Lindsey, Luke Wilson, Grayson, Kaitlyn, Addison Kasten, Jacob Kasten, Cutler, Kinsley Jo Kasten, Kamryn, Kreyton Anderson, Kymber, Kale, Koy, Keeley Kasten, Kannen, Kycen and Kohen Elliott; his stepgrandchildren, Alicia McDaniel (Michael), Brandon Mottl and Troy Dodd; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Chasyn, Jaxyn and Zebadyah McDaniel.
