She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence B. Brown and Georgia L. Morgan Brown; her husband Ottilie Clyde Bays; and her sisters, Carolyn Ezell and Dona Lee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Anita Beattie and Roxanna Jean Bays; and her sister Cella "Joyce" Figueroa. She is also survived by four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter.
