She was predeceased by: her husband Val Jean; her daughter Kay; and her siblings, Wesley, Glenn, Irene and June.
She is survived by: her siblings, Orin and Dolly Spurgin (Slagle); her children, Karen and Keith Garman; her grandchildren, Troy, Travis, Trisha May, Denoya Novovesky and Jennifer Harris; and her stepgrandchildren, Vinny and Elizabeth Fall. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
