It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Pope of Mankato, Kansas, born in Colby, Kansas, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence R. Pope and Thersa I. Pope (Wilson); his wife Julie Pope; his son Russ Pope; and his pet Patches.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Winter and Kari Morris (Vern) of Mankato; his daughter-in-law Linda Pope; his grandchildren, Shawna, Alec, Chris, Cody, Megan and Mitchell; his brother James "Jim" (Glee) of Arizona; his pet Buddy; and his family, Brian and Sheri Baalman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Jewell Co. Strong, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
