He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Henry and Lara Frankamp Switzer; his stepsiblings, Dale Switzer, Alice Weirman and Sopha Moore; his former wife Marianna Fowler Switzer; his wife Maxine Walker Switzer; and his grandson Lee Adelstone.
He is survived by: his son David Switzer of Vail; his stepchildren, Lori Bradford (Jeff) of Woodstock and Rodney Adelstone (Charlene) of Myrtle Beach; and his sister-in-law Lesley Hunter (Jim) of Manhattan. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wy Cliff Bible Translators in his memory.
