It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Franklin Garst of Mankato, Kansas, born in Delphos, Kansas, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Garst and Velma Gertrude Garst (Jamison); and his children, Teresa Garst and Randy Garst. He is survived by: his wife Letha Modlin of Mankato; and his siblings, Shirley Hancock of Englewood, CO and Paul Garst (Darlene). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
