She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Myers and Florence Myers; her husband Cleo Duane Hiltgen; and her siblings, LaVern, Fern, Mary Lou, Jimmy and Harold.
She is survived by: her children, Cary (Lisa) of Edmond, OK, Jeanette Howard (Brian) of Edmond, OK, Jeanine Mayes Hiltgen (Gary) of Mankato, KS, Beverly Alexander of Altamonte Springs, FL and Pamela Mueller (Scott) of Gardner, KS. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melby Mortuary (402 N High St, Mankato, KS 66956). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Windy Hill Cemetery.
In honor of Geneva, the family suggests memorials be made in her name to family members that are battling cancer, Addie Jo Voelker (Venmo: @AddieVoelker), age 8, and Trace Alexander (Venmo: @TraceAlexander09), age 15. In addition, memorials can be made to the Solomon Valley Transportation (SVT) service in Beloit, KS, and the Mankato UTE Theater.
