It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William P. Mathewson in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mathewson and Elsie Mathewson (Becker); his brothers, Terrance, Richard and Wayne; and his great grandchild Ryker.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Huerter; his sons, James (Lola) of Manhattan, KS, Steven (Susana) of Folsom, CA and Mark (Jody) of Dallas, TX; and his sister Kay Fangman of Topeka, KS.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice in Manhattan and sent in care of the Funeral Home.
