He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Smolen; his children, Andrea L Myer (Dennis, Jr.) of Manhattan, Valarie A Hockenberry of Plainfield, IL and Erik Hockenberry of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings, Debbie Fritz (Ray) of Hammond, IN. and Lester Hockenberry (Betty) of Orland, IL.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
