It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Shockey in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on April 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orval Patnode and Dorothy Patnode (Sackrider); her grandfather Alvin Patnode; her former husband James Shockey; her son Michael Shockey; and her sister Linda Letterman (Winston). She was also cherished by her many cousins and life-long friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Wanda to the Manhattan Public Library.
