He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George F. Proudfoot and Lucille Proudfoot; his wife Doris Volpe; and his siblings, Bernadette Carriago of Cocoa Beach, Mary Beissner of Cocoa Beach, Nicolette Proudfoot of Lawrence, Daniel Proudfoot of Tonganoxie, Sally Benedict of Murfreesboro, Joe Proudfoot of Apopka and Karen Hitt of Orlando. He was also cherished by 16 nieces and nephews.
