Garwood (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Cuba, Kansas, who passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Chizek and Amelia Chizek (Plucar); her grandparent Hoover Opera House; her husband Harry Garwood; her brothers-in-law, Dean Walthers and Charles Lang; her children, James "Jim" Garwood (Sonya) of Clyde, KS, Donald "Don" Garwood (Karen) of Manhattan and Diane Bender (Michael) of Sterling, KS; and her sisters, Marjorie Walthers of Cuba, KS and Shirley Lang of Salina, KS. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
