She is survived by: her daughters, Cory Carvalho-Reynolds and Megan Gissendanner (Rob); her husband Thomas Carvalho; her mother Rosemary Miller; her stepdaughters, Annette Dyer and Tina Martin; and her siblings, F. Wayne (Cathy), Myles Miller (Tami) and Cinda Vining (Joe). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Manhattan Sunset Zoo, 2333 Oak Street, Manhattan, KS 66502.
