He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Friesen and Louise Friesen; and his brothers, Leo Friesen and Melvin Friesen. He is survived by: his former wife Wanda Bollinger; his children, Amy (Ward), Janell (Epp) and Jeff; his wife Ann Long; his stepchildren, Susie (Troutt) and Chuck; his children, April (Garner-Lake) and Haley; and his siblings, Mildred Schmidt, Larry, Jim and Donald Friesen. He is also survived by four sons-in-law, eighteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
