Verlyn D. Richards Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlyn D. Richards (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Bavaria, Kansas, who passed away on August 30, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Florence Gebhart, Jeanne Pohlman and Joanne Pridey; his father Clifford Wesley; his brother Fritz Richards; and his niece Jeanne Pohlman.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Jack W. Richards (Susan), Robert Richards (Kristie), Randy Pohlman, Roger Pridey, Jeannie Stevens (Dale), Kay Laubhan (Vern) and Karen Perry (Jim). He is also survived by twelve great nieces and nephews, and eleven great- grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Verlyn D Richards Scholarship or the Meadowlark Hill Good Samaritan Fund, contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
