We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2023, at the age of 88, Rose Mina Simmons of Manhattan, Kansas, born in Clay Center, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Louis Oetinger and Alice Lennea Oetinger (Berggren); and her sister Lennea Nikkel. She is survived by: her husband Norm; her children, Christopher Simmons (Robyn Speidel), Jennifer Wheelock (A. Tobey) and Susan Byrne (Timothy); her grandchildren, Elijah, Rex, Elise, Lee, Amanda and Melanie; her great grandchildren, Grayson and Max; and her siblings, Bill Oetinger (Grace) of Morganville, KS and Ann Parr of Lenexa, KS..
