It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Francis Burke of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on August 8, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Joseph and Mavis Eileen Burke (Bowker); and his brothers, Don Burke and John Burke. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet M. Sells (Duane) of Manhattan, Karen E McVey (Kenneth) of Manhattan and Steven J Burke of Manhattan; and his nieces and nephews, Christina Sells, Amber Cole, Kelli Moran (Nick), Robert Burke (Missy), David Sells, Kyle McVey and Daniel Sells. He is also survived by 6 great nieces, 6 great nephews and 5 great-great nieces.
A vigil service will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the funeral home, the family will receive friends prior to the vigil with Covid-19 precautions.
The family request donations be made to Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Catholic School, or Food Pantry.
